Enjoy the snorkeling adventure of a lifetime as you pilot your own 13-foot (4-meter) inflatable mini-boat. Make your way along the uninhabited cays and beaches of Fajardo. Meet your guide at Puerto Chico Marina. Get some pre-ride instructions and a safety orientation from the crew before boarding your fully equipped mini-boat. Benefit from the assistance and expertise of a certified and qualified guide that will lead you over the crystal clear waters towards small, uninhabited islands with incredible white sand beaches. Head north along the bluffs of Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve, and the world-renowned virgin beach Icacos Cay. Get breathtaking views of the mountains of the El Yunque rainforest, the mangrove-lined coast, and Fajardo's 130-year-old Spanish lighthouse. Grab your snorkeling gear and practice freediving techniques in preparation for the most fascinating snorkeling experience in Puerto Rico. Discover spectacular coral reef formations, swim among schools of tropical fish, and learn about the wonders of the underwater world from your eco guide. After a good swim, it’s about time to have some snacks and refreshments (found in the coolers provided on each mini-boat). Enjoy a quick meal framed by coral reefs that feature incredible turquoise waters, pure white sand beaches, and views of the mainland. Learn all about the natural history of the reserve and some interesting facts about the surroundings from your local guide and recharge your batteries before another fun-packed snorkeling session.
