Description

Explore El Yunque National Rain Forest with a certified tour guide. Drive up the mountain about 3,000 feet above sea level. Stop at Yokahu tower, an observation tower to appreciate and take photos of El Yunque. See the beauty of La Coca Falls and go for a hike in the rainforest. Make a stop at La Coca falls to see the beauty of this natural wonder. Go for a hike for approximately 45 minutes in one of the available trails. Next, stop at a waterhole for swimming in one of the available rivers. Swimming is optional. El Yunque Rainforest is the only tropical rainforest of the US National Forest managed by the USDA.

  • Wear comfortable shoes suitable for hiking. Bring swimwear and a towel if you plan to swim. It's recommended to bring water and snacks. Use insect repellent to protect against mosquitoes. Photography is allowed, so bring your camera. Smoking and littering are prohibited within the national forest. Avoid touching plants to preserve the natural habitat. The tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility impairments. Non-swimmers may choose to skip the swimming part of the tour.
