Located on the north-end of the newly renovated Plaza La Barandilla at Calle Luna & Tanca in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Restaurante Airenumo created by your host Mari Blanca Gonzalez Relaño and Luisa M. Texidor Pujols, serves a savory mix of Spanish and Puerto Rican dishes. Known for its exquisite cuisine, artisan breads and desserts, Airenumo is a must stop when visiting Old San Juan.

Mari Blanca and Luisa provide their guests with the perfect combination; an exquisite meal in an ambiance surrounded by history, art and music. Add to this an ample wine cellar filled with many fine selections from Spain, South America and other regions and you have what very well may be one of the best restaurants in Old San Juan.

Airenumo Restaurante Bar and Lounge's menu contains a variety of Spanish and Caribbean inspired items. For example; 'Mofonguitos' Tapas, small mofongo balls in a savory crabmeat stew. Mofongo made with mashed plantain is a very popular dish in Puerto Rico and this is a great way to enjoy it. There are over 15 varieties of Tapas on the menu including vegetarian selections. Paella's are the most requested items and believe it or not there are 25 different varieties available. Paellas are freshly prepared using authentic Spanish techniques, prepared to order right from the oven to your table. New to the restaurant is a selection of 100 different sandwiches all prepared with the freshest ingredients, many of the Tapas can be made into sandwiches. Mari Blanca only uses ingredients available locally and fresh to prepare all of her menu creations. Start your meal with Anastasio's Sangria prepared using Mari Blanca's fathers recipe, one of the best sangria's you will every taste.

Chef Mari Blanca has won gold medals in Madrid and Europe for her dessert and chocolate skills. So when dining in Airenumo you must leave room for dessert. There are many mouthwatering pastries, pies and cakes to choose from all freshly prepared by the chef herself. Try the coconut flan, chocolate brownie cake or kiwi cheesecake just to name a few.

In addition to being a great place to eat, is a great place to learn and have fun. There are special music nights where guests can play the available musical instruments, Karaoke nights are always a blast, Bomba and Plena night fills the bar with traditional Puerto Rican rhythms, call to learn which activity is being held on a particular night.

Mari Blanca and Luisa host corporate and small group activities that include cooking classes, pastry classes, mixology classes including how to make the perfect Mojito among others. They will create a class for basically whatever your needs are. Catering services are also available.
