L’Osteria is an Italian restaurant for the fine diners out there. Chef Cristian Crostelli uses his Italian roots in his cooking to put a modern twist on the traditional Italian cuisine. The restaurant is unique in its choice not to have a menu, instead preferring to keep it fresh and have a select few dishes that change each day – sometimes even throughout the day.
The décor inside is simple and contemporary, in keeping with the overall style of the restaurant. Upon entry, guests are informed of the history of the restaurant, and are then presented with a chalkboard featuring the daily specials. Unlike the menu, the wine list is hugely extensive, with a wide selection available from around the world.
Accessibility to the restaurant is good thanks to a small car park outside as well as the option of valet parking. Not surprisingly, dining at L’Osteria is likely to be a pricey affair. Due to the lack of menus, you will not be presented with the cost of each dish until receiving the bill, so bear this in mind before you go. Perhaps a good option for a special occasion.
